Towel Poncho/Pontšo "RannaKratt"

I found this cute bear-print towel fabric in a second-hand shop. It had clearly been sitting around for a long time, and when I looked at it more closely, I noticed quite a few stains.

But the print was just too cute to leave behind, so I brought it home anyway. And eventually, it turned into a little beach poncho.

I added some yellow details to bring out the colours in the print and give it a bit more character. I’m really happy with how it turned out!

Towel Poncho/Pontšo "Flower Power"

The two little girls got their own beach ponchos for the summer. Now they can wrap up in their own cozy ponchos after a dip in the sea instead of borrowing Mum and Dad's.

Enne suurt suve veel üks värvikas rannapontšo.🌞

One more vibrant beach poncho before summer is in full swing.🌞

Towel Poncho/Pontšo "Cebollita"

The poncho got its name from the sewn-on emblem, which had the word "onion" on it… but "onion" sounded a bit plain, so we went with the fancier Spanish version: "Cebollita" 😀

This is how I imagine this poncho looking on a sunny day at the beach. 😀🌞

Here’s a photo of the poncho still in the sewing process… the pockets aren’t added yet, and the marking lines are still visible.

Towel Poncho/Pontšo "KOHALIK"

A project made from leftover towelling fabric in dark tones… and this is how it turned out. I managed to use up all the fabric pieces that were left over from previous projects.

This poncho is called "KOHALIK" — which translates from Estonian as ‘a local,’ the friendly village type who knows every shortcut and every rumor. 😊

Already cold outside, no oceans or palm trees in Estonia, and no model handy… so AI got creative!
The pictures below isn’t perfect, but it totally captures my vibe—AI did a great job! 😀
